Let's make a check list of know issues here, we'll solve them one by one:

[x] Fix the auto updater downloading weird stuff on mobile platforms
[x] Make the mobile screens actually use SafeArea to prevent collisions
[x] Fix the login and register page to support mobile on small screens
[x] Fix the password reset page on small screens
[ ] Make a better message context menu specifically for mobile
[x] Remove all inappropriate or unsupported settings from the mobile settings page
[ ] Remove all Spaces related pages from the mobile app

When this check list is complete, I guess we can try testing the first version of the app on Android. Just as an .apk for now and no auto updates for Android unfortunately. After it is done I'll start applying to Google for putting it into the Play Store and then eventually into the App Store. Once both apps in these stores work properly, we'll start rolling out more features to mobile. That's the plan for now at least.

This is now finally one step closer because of the internal changes made in v0.2.0. After this release, mobile will get some more love and we'll hopefully have the first version of the mobile app by v0.3.0.
