Add this bromide:

"Money is the root of all evil," said James Taggart. "Money can't buy happiness. Love will conquer any barrier and any social distance. That may be a bromide, boys, but that's how I feel."

The purpose of money is not to "buy happiness" directly but to serve as a medium of exchange, so at the outset this is a foolish line of thinking. Further for money to be the root of all evil implies economy is evil which then collapses human ends, prosperity and happiness itself. Tell James Taggart that it's a skill issue.
