Fixes #58 + adjusts the OpenStack naming style I also added an option for a custom hash function, since the default sha1 is already marked as deprecated.

@Lirt sorry for a late response. Yes please, I think 0.5.1 tag would be nice. My colleagues already tested this PR build and it works fine for them.
