I am curious that having the probability, why still using fix bet strategy instead of Kelly's formula? Are there any findings show fix bet strategy is the better? Thank you.

Hi, Our paper was not aimed at testing bankroll management. As you mention, Kelly's formula might have produced increased returns.

We used fix bets because we were only worried that changing the amount you bet on each game might have raised suspicion among bookmakers, leading to limits in our accounts (which happened anyway). The challenge is more bookmakers' account limits than bankroll management.
