New icon for Wi-Fi signal

Hello, I want to send you new two icon for put on the map the wi-fi signal.
they are open end free?

Hi Rufus,

Thanks for your icons!  I will use these as a base for modifying the current 
WiFi icon that we have found here: 
http://google-maps-icons.googlecode.com/files/wifi.png

Since we do not do multi-color icons I'll make the padlock white as well.

Now I have created the icons you have requested based on your design, plus I 
added another version with the traditional WiFi logo, also with an "Protected" 
version.  You find them all here:

Is there any issues with the Wi-Fi Alliance trademarks on those icons? See 
www.wi-fi.org/brand.php.

Hi William,

I don't know, I guess if we where selling the 2 icons there might be an issue, 
but we're not.  We have so many request for logos for people who want to put 
them on their maps to help others find the location, like McDonald's and other 
chains of merchants.  If they do have a problem with us helping them promote 
their locations then we'll of cause remove them.  With the Wi-Fi we even have 
alternative icons so the Wi-Fi Alliance one isn't really needed, if you are 
worried about using the Wi-Fi Alliance ones, just use the others.

Reading the brand styleguide 
http://www.wi-fi.org/files/WIFI_StyleGuide_061510_LR.pdf... I think we are not 
allowed to use the icon freely, unfortunately.

We could ask for a request, but I don't think it's worth : we already have 
other wireless icons.

So I prefer deleting them to avoid any rights issue.

Seriously...  OK, so there goes the great idea of logos out of the window.  
Guess we have to remove the World Heritage Site and TER icons as well then?  
These are also organizational symbols with copyright on them? Zoological Garden 
and Recycle might be a problem as well...

Won't delete the other icons, but I was scared for "Wifi", as William suggested 
we couldn't use the icon : I take it as a threat actually.
