[BUG] Unable to backup conf.yml: Error: EROFS: read-only file system,

Describe the problem

When deploying a fresh docker container, either passing in my conf.yml or not I can't save any changes locally. I get an error about read only file system. I was able to bypass this by passing in my config file, making changes and updating the config file outside docker and redeploying, but it seems like this is a bug.
