Images have been added, we need a copyright statement that satisfies UVa and Marymount intellectual property rights policies.
In the TEI?

Sorry the footer/credits for the website. (Not the TEI)
OK; I think that we’ll have to punt this for now (this is not going public in any way). For images within texts, we can put credits in the TEI; I’ve been getting things that are public domain or where non-profit use rights have been obtained. But the copyright question for the site as a whole, I’m not sure how to word it, since we have two institutions involved. Chris might have guidelines—is she in on this conversation?

I was thinking a CC-BY-SA-NC to cover the students; that would fit with both MU and UVA policies. It might also work for the other materials, too, provided credit is given in the texts, likely in annotations where other materials are referred to.

Yes, that should work. Here’s the link to the page with their logo: https://creativecommons.org/choose/results-one?license_code=by-nc-sa&jurisdiction=&version=2.0&lang=en

Tagging @cruotolo
I'm checking with Brandon Butler about specific language for the copyright statement in the footer.
Brandon suggested this language: "Original content on this site created by its authors is licensed under a CC-BY 4.0 International License. That license does not apply to third-party material. Copyright information regarding third party material is noted in context wherever possible." It looks great to me -- what do you all think?
I think that sounds perfect! Thanks, Chris!
