Steam Deck Proton can't connect to AP server #8

I am using a Steamdeck, going through the proton layer to use the .exe release.

When I try to connect to an archipelago.gg server, I get an error saying it couldn't connect and I need to check if the server is running.

However, if I self host on the steamdeck, I can connect using localhost without any issues.

Wow, at this point I'm not even sure how you found this repo 🥴 as far as rando goes, this fork is defunct. We use the mod instead now: https://github.com/LittleCube-hax/MMRecompRando#Setup

Although the Linux build of the mod itself is currently broken. I need to post a new release, but let me know if the windows version gives you the same error.

Lol, that explains why there was an update for the world and not this!

Everything is working fine if I use windows. Seems to be an issue with the Steamdeck + proton layer.

Oh and FYI, this repo is still associated with the Majora's Mask AP on this site.
