If you try to style the world, it puts up a style editor which then goes flying off in a Northwest direction, leaving the UI hung unless you monkey-type enough to discover that hitting escape will get control back.

As a larger and less pressing issue, it bothers me to have tools that don't look or behave like anything else. What should I know about an ellipse that says "body style" on my screen? Why not a live editing window that is ready to go. And why, as I select parameters for a gradient, isn't it showing my world changing?
The interface in Squeak was a good one, and the one in old Lively was OK too except no live gradients
