Hi,

Trying to run the livepool on hiveOS and getting the following error:

[h264_nvenc @ 0x46d8300] OpenEncodeSessionEx failed: out of memory (10): (no details) ERROR: encoder.c:199] Error opening video encoder : Cannot allocate memory ERROR: transcoder.c:173] Unable to open output : Cannot allocate memory E0315 05:59:16.328876 1048 ffmpeg.go:364] Transcoder Return : Cannot allocate memory F0315 05:59:16.382445 1048 livepool.go:286] Unable to transcode using Nvidia gpu=0 err=Cannot allocate memory

I have RTX 3090, 2080 TI and 1080. I have tested on each one individually and same error.

I have tried with and without other miners running. Specs: Version: livepool v0.5.14 Multi-Region Support 🌍 System type linux Kernel 5.4.0-hiveos

I am getting the same error on Windows 10 with a GTX 1070

I had the same problem, did you apply the patch for nvidia drivers?

I'm not sure if I can link it directly here, so you just google nvenc session patch and follow the necessary steps.

This should be mentioned on the release download page. I basically spent an entire day trying to figure out what was wrong before giving up and going to sleep then thinking about it again when I woke up and finding this by searching a different part of the error message and finding a github comment archive of one of the users in this thread and then looking up the repo and going to the issues tab. That's a lot for a normal user to do and I suspect most of the people who get this are just giving up.

I would suggest having a friendly error pointing to a solution would be a good idea
