If you own an apartment/flat in Liverpool, or you’re looking at buying one (there are quite a few!) there is basically no way of telling whether the service charge is high or low, compared to other similar developments.
Everyone complains their service charge is too high. But surely everybody can’t be overpaying?
It’s something traditional home owners probably wouldn’t care about, but if such a site (“Are you overpaying for your service charge? Type it in and find out…”) would be a big hit for apartment owners, and a good (and rare) example of crowdsourced open data from the private rather than public sector.
