Duplicate adjectives #1

I've noticed that duplicate words appear in adjectives.txt. The following is a list of duplicate words:

      2 better
      2 cheapest
      2 coolest
      2 fastest
      2 greatest
      2 highest
      2 hot
      2 longer
      2 longest
      2 lower
      2 nearest
      2 newest
      2 older
      2 oldest
      2 poorer
      2 poorest
      2 quickest
      2 richer
      2 richest
      2 smaller
      2 smallest
      2 smarter
      2 smartest
      2 soaking
      2 stronger
      2 strongest
      2 taller
      2 tallest
      2 warmest
      2 younger
      2 youngest
      3 worn

As I was wondering about how this list was initially created to cause such an error, I began to wonder if words might be missing. Some duplicate words are adjacent. Others are in a 1 2 1 2 overlapping pattern. Could there have been a programmatic issue in concatenating smaller lists?

As I'm putting together a pull request for this issue, I'm noticing something else concerning.

gratuitous grave
gratuitous graveer
gratuitous graveest

Multiple words appear on one line. At that, graveer and graveest don't appear to be real English words. Is this really how the netgear passwords are?

This over-scopes the issue, but on the topic of non-english words in the list, searching for "eest" and "yest" digs up a lot of questionable words.
