Optimization tips for Avia in woodland / vegetation? #74

I'm experimenting an Avia lidar sensor. I notice many of the examples are set in an urban environment with large simple geometric features in the scene. In my use case I'm capturing trees and vegetation with less well defined edges. I'm having some, but limited, success with reconstructions with LIO-Livox. I'm curious can anyone familiar with the algorithms advise what parameters I should be looking at to optimize for 1) a hand held scanner, 2) trees and vegetation but no buildings or infrastructure. Thanks.
