Travis-CI runs slowly #3

On dev branch, travis-ci unit tests take nearly 10 mins to run. This should be sped up if possible. Two most likely options are better utilization of travis caching or installing build dependencies from up-to-date binaries.

Fixed in dev branch, so I'll close this issue.
