Unable to install due to windows version

Apparently Mids will not install to windows 10 home edition {64bit} version 1803 {my current version because it will not update past this point}

the popup that came up stated that "MidsReborn cannot be installed to the following windows versions" and listed my current version.

Is it strictly windows 11 only software ?

Windows 11 or Windows 10 1903+ if i recall. If your OS doesn't update the normal way you can try through the media installation tool: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/create-installation-media-for-windows-99a58364-8c02-206f-aa6f-40c3b507420d

Fyi, as we speak Windows 10 21H1 is the oldest still receiving support and updates. https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-10-home-and-pro

Why is it not backwardscompatible with those versions ?

As to why my machine will not update past its current point {1803} is bnecause I specifically set it for that using a tool to control when I want to update my machine. so why can this program not be backwards compatible, or even have an older version for that version of windows 10 ?
