symbol item counts added. also fixed example-marker css #193

The branch implements one feature and fixes one bug:

1. item counts screen shot 2018-06-14 at 6 09 31 pm

2. example markers are centered and wrap to the next line when necessary screen shot 2018-06-14 at 6 58 40 pm

Merge this branch before merging the branch 'feature_fullscreen-carousel', which is built off of this branch.
