Old games fix #18

This is a very, very temporary patch for games that are missing data, mostly so that we can throw it up while we work on a fix.

(This PR also contains changes from some previous PRs - I merged them to main locally so I could get started on this. If this PR goes through, the other PRs should be unnecessary.)
