Voice Channel Lock ? #1

Hi,

I like your bot very much! Congrats for the progress.

Is it possible to make Voice Channels lockable ?

Maybe, a user that joins a channel wants to restrict access ?

Maybe some simple commands ...

!lock - locks channel if user.id got any channel created with it's name !unlock - unlock channel if it is already locked. !permit @user - permit tagged user to join if channel locked. !restrict @user - restrict tagged user if it was permitted earlier.

Hello @botea14,

thanks for your input. I added a role override to the channel "owner". You can now freely restrict or allow users and roles from the Discord Channel Permission UI.

If you experience any errors feel free to reopen this issue.

first, you should add your discord server if you want me or other ppl to join your support/development server.

second, it would be nice to add category and voice channel id`s in config.json and not name, because, at least on my centos, i cannot add channels if their name contains emoji or other special characters.

Hi this bot was mainly a test Project for Friends and never meant to be used publicly 😄 I will probably rewrite it in the future with an alternative setup dialog or some kind of proper config. The emojis indeed are a problem. You can also use the unicode version as a workaround.
