Light with "use nodes" #88

First of all: What an awesome piece of software. It works really nicely. When I started trying it out on a small animation of a lit cube on a plane, I noticed that the render looked quite different from when I render directly from Blender. I eliminated everything step by step and found out that my problem was that I used nodes on my spot light (blackbody and an IES texture), which apparently are not supported. Can anything be done about this? Am I missing something?

Regards Engle from blender from BlendFarm

first image was the render directly from Blender. Also, as soon as I change the light to not use nodes (and it looks not as nice), the images match up.

Sorry for the late response. BlendFarm runs individual renders in clean instances of Blender. I'm not entirely familiar with the specific features you're using, could this be related to the issue?

Hi and thank you for looking into this. Well, the use of nodes for a light is a default function of Blender, if that's what you're asking. It has nothing to do with any addon or such. The IES texture (sort of a map of how a light would distribute intensity over the area, look here https://ieslibrary.com) hopefully is packed with all the other external resources. I think I will try this again only with the native blackbody node and see if I can narrow down the issue. I'll let you know.
