Add some more user-friendly examples both in README.md and as source files.

This is good, but I think that most of the long explanation should be in the lib.rs docs instead of the readme. That way it'll show up in the docs.rs documentation.

Ah! Sorry, I didn't mean that we needed to cancel the PR, I just wanted the examples moved to the other file is all.
