Before I pull this in, how exactly are magi using amp/damp these days? Are
there
even any fights where it's used? Do you blanket the raid with it our just one
person? If I put the module in, I want it to fit the need, and as of yet I've
not
heard of any place where the spells are needed (no, I don't raid currently).

Honestly, they aren't necessary today. I ran them a bit when we were first
starting
10 man content, but not any longer. Hopefully, that will change with 3.1.
It's a
blanket raid module. Just pick one and go. I have it disabled 99% of the time.

"I have it disabled 99% of the time."

Exactly why I never implemented anything. A thought, when you're using it,
you're
only after one of the spells at a time. How about just adding two simple raid-
blanket modules, one for each buff. Then we don't need full blown custom
module
code, we can use the existing templates. Think that'd be adequate? I don't
want to
add all that (mostly duplicate) code in if I don't have to, it's another thing
to
break that I can't test (no mage here).

Two simple blanket modules works for me.
