Also, by doing that I'd have to check out the IC2 API whether it'd be experimental or classic.
Rotational units sure it is IC2 Experimental. Heat units I am not sure. But it was introduced into GregT's GT6
But even if it only implements IC2 EU that would be pretty good. If it re-uses IC2 harz (sticky resin), IC2 circuits, energy crystals, lapotrons, batteries) and add its own higher tiers or higher capacity, that I am fine with. IC2 Classic sure is nice IC2 Experimental can be nice as well (it is just different) I think TechReborn managed to be compatible with both.
To implement HU I'd need to overhaul a lot of things in terms of early-game material processing too. I'll take a look at IC2, and see the direction they're going in.
Having it depend on IC2 seems like a bad idea considering how volatile IC2 is now adays
