[1.1.2 (22)] Nexus 6/ Android 6.0.1 - User not able to share Lomotif on Mail, Lomotif is not attached with the mail #195

Frequency - Always

  1. Launch the app
  2. Click on Start
  3. Select any video from Add Photos & Videos screen
  4. Tap on next button on top right corner on Add Photos & Videos screen
  5. Select any song from the Find Music screen
  6. Tap on next button on top right corner on the Add Music screen
  7. Tap on Export button on Create screen
  8. Select Mail to share the Lomotif
  9. In mail, check whether the Lomotif is attached with mail

Actual Result - Lomotif is not attached

Expected Result - Lomotif should be attached with the mail.

Can't reproduce on Nexus 5 / 6.0.1.. (But I received a prompt about allowing attachments, and said yes.)

An update for the issue -

The issue is reproducible with the Lomotif's whose size is greater than 20 MB.

When size of Lomotif is greater than 20 MB, at that time while sending the mail, message get displays as - "Can't attach file over 20 MB" and the Lomotif doesn't get attach with the mail.

I was able to reproduce the issue for Nexus 6/Android 6.0.1 and Nexus 5/Android 6.0.1

Reproducible for me on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 / 5.0.2.

I can reproduce it on build 1.1.2.(22) on Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 Android 4.4.2. but it's limit on gmail client side

Not able to reproduce this issue on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3/5.1.1 for build [1.1.2(22)]

I can reproduce the issue for build [1.3.0 (27)] on Nexus 6/Android 6.0.1
