Not a bug per se, more of a "feature request", because in my opinion that's a very suboptimal decision by the AI, akin to Arabia taking Progress, Celts taking Pagodas or India taking a missionary spreading belief. In my opinion Byzantium should 99.9% of the time take another founder or enhancer belief as their bonus belief, as they are, almost by definition, stronger than follower beliefs and they also have the added advantage that only Byzantium benefits from them, whereas if they take another follower belief, then those to whom Byzantium spread their religion will also benefit from the bonus belief.
Is there any way to heavily nudge the AI into that direction? Maybe we could discuss this on the civfanatics forum if you guys want the opinion of the community.
