Repeated CTD Mid Game #851

I have tried three different games since fixing my UI issue. Im not getting CTD's about a 1/4th a way through the renaissance. I have a .dmp file but im unable to open it and interpret it.

Best I could do to host it. I love what I have played so far but the CTD's are killing the experience.

Ok I have enabled logging and done a little bit more diving to reporduce the problem. Im crashing upon meeting the ottoman civilization. Im testing through IGE. When whever I meet player 9 which is the vinilla ottoman empire as America CTD

Now suffice it to say. I can see where many of the Units from Advanced Air Naval and Ground units may show up the most but I have seen games of people playing with this mod to completion. And what does meeting players have to do with that mod crashing the game entirely?

One or more of your mods are breaking the CBP's units, thus crashing the game. G

I believe that to be not accurate for the simple fact. Since the last time I posted 22 minutes ago i have disabled every mod one by one and tried to meet a number of the civs through IGE that CTD me. The results are the same taking away every mod one by one. The only Mods active after clearing my cache logs and mod userdate again at Any file that comes with the BASE CBP. I have no other mods on and still. CTD upon meeting Russia, Ottomans, Arabia. I can meet everyone else.

Basically Im vanilla base install of CPB

Delete them from your MODS folder and clear your cache. Disabling them but leaving them in your MODS folder allows them to actually still be loaded by Civ, because the Civ mod loader code is poorly written.

Im going to stop posting and allow you experts time to offer a new opinion. Im not new to modding but im at a loss here. I don't know what to do. This is with only the Base mods. The problem persist only now its crashing when meeting other civs.

Looks like you are missing the More Luxuries mod. G

You should have: CP CBP CSD C4DF More Luxuries

and, depending on your use of EUI, either: CBP-NoEUI Compatibility or CBP-EUI compatibility

If using EUI, make sure it is in your EUI folder. Clear the cache, check all the mods in the mods menu and then click next.

Also clear your moduserdata folder, just to be on the safe side.

With the luxuries mod back on ( my mistake). Im still crashing when meeting civilizations.

Are you trying to do all of this on a save game? You'll need to start a new one. If you are still crashing, that's indicative of a couple of things. Most likely, you need to update civ and/or verify integrity. Second, you might be missing some leader DLC.

What belongs in the EUI folder. All I thought I needed to do was put the one into the DLC folder. I didint see anything that belonged inside the EUI folder.

Im doing new games each try. With completley new civilizations

The bc_1 (EUI) folder should be in your DLC folder. Everything else goes in your MODS folder in your documents.

yup everything is in the correct place. Im at version 279 i believe it is and im redoing verfiying the intergerity and deleting cache and everything all over again i will try

I have steam to auto update and I have every DLC available in the steam store installed

Once you've done all of that, enable all the mods, load up a game and then post your database.log again.

Looks like you are using IGE. Make sure you are only using the core mods.

But then i cannot test when I meet the civs? which is the root of my problem

Other than that, I genuinely don't know what to tell you, as no other user has this issue. You should make a post on the subforum to see if there is a setting or element of your PC setup is causing the problem.

If you are using IGE to expose the map all at once, it may be crashing your system if you are at the memory cap (as a lot of events are firing at once).
