Installation of pas2js-ws works not with Fpc stable and Laz stable #664

Hello, it's not longer possible to install the Module pas2js-ws with FpcUpDeLuxe for the constellation Fpc stable and Laz stable.

And it's also not possible to install with FpcUp another constellation of Fpc and Laz - only stable - stable is possible.

I tried some different constellation, please see the pic with the table.

One pic shows the error messages.

My System is Linux Mint 21.3 Cinnamon (first pic show system info)

Best Regards Harald

Thanks for this extensive report ! This issue is known to the developers of FPC and Lazarus and pas2js. They are very aware of it and working hard behind the screens to get things up and running again. The whole process of installing pas2js and its integration into Lazarus will be (much) improved when they are finished. So we must be a bit patient at this moment. And stay tuned.

Thank you very much for this fast and - more important: very good news!

I look forward for the end of the work of the team.

And I will have patient, no problem.

fpcupdeluxe fails to install pas2js-rtl with error code 2: image

but it installs correctly fpc and lazarus, only missing thing is sending the units and precompiled files into lazarus' directory image

Then updating the menu entries on Tools > Options > Pas2js: image

And SimpleWebServer: image

After that I had to rescan FPC Sources to make things work but there must be an easier way via fpcup or its done by default somehow: image

And, after all that, it works! image
