When you use Devour Magic the Pet doesn't run to the Opponent to dispell (or back from him to the friendly target that has to be dispelled). Same Issue with Spelllock. Normally when you use Devor Magic/Spelllock the Pet should run to the target

Indeed , if any pet skill is used and the target is not in range the pet should run to the target then use the skill on the target and then back to his last position or attacking target . I remember really well this mechanic in retail , tonight ill search some video proffs.

Not video proof, but reading the comments in the arenajunkies thread should dispel any doubts. im pretty sure the pet will chase someone behind los, but your pets travel time to get the dispel really sucks sometimes. I remember personally using dispel macros in TBC to get rid of polymorphs and fears.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG5zqvDJTU4 that is not Tbc i know but that's the way it should work, run to the Opponent/friendly target dispell and run back/do the Action it did before

it should run in range and cast it, i don't think it should attack afterwards. for example when it's attacking one Opponent and you wanna dispell your Team mate it should run to your Team mate, dispell him and then run back to the earlier target to attack it again. same with spelllock and dispelling an Opponent. but as i think this is rly hard to script (never seen this working on a Tbc Project) i assume a hidden petattack button would be the easier and acceptable Option (that's how it seems to work on other Projects)

And what happens then, given your pet is out of range for Devour Magic / Spelllock, does it cast it then when it is in range or is it just like the pet spell button has a hidden [petattack] command binded to it?
