Hunter Pet Loyalty #3241

I have been leveling a hunter on the relaunch test realm. I tamed a bear when it was at level 7 and leveled it up to 14 while keeping its happiness at 'content' or 'happy' the entire time. The pet never raised from Loyalty Level 1 (Rebellious) and the happiness drains very quickly. I tamed a different pet to see if it was just the one that I tamed and I had the same results.

Can someone confirm? Pet loyalty is even increased on progress realm due to x3 exp.

Pet loyalty wasnt an issue at all while leveling once the progress realm launched. Not sure what was going on while I was testing

Confirmed. None of the pets I've tamed on Realm II (Progressive) are able to gain loyalty.

I have some updated information on this issue. Loyalty is functional, however it has some problems.

1) I believe that the gain for new pets might be too low. After gaining experience with a pet I had to feed it 60 times back to back (20 seconds apart) before it went to loyalty level 2.

2) The happiness indicator in the "pet pane" is non-functional. It always displays as green regardless of the pet's actual happiness.

These two issues together combined to cause me to misunderstand the loyalty system, because pets always appear as if they're happy even when they're not.
