While doing some testing on the Route Adriatica v.1.2, Openrails activity runner crashes both in Explore Mode and in activities.

It's a known problem, which is due to unusual definition of some signals. There are some signals which do not have any active signalhead, and this is something that ORTS cannot handle. There is a patch available for this route which converts these signals to static items, which solves the problem. I presume this route-patch is available on some Italian trainsim site, but I'm afraid I have no details.
