Please disregard. this is an ID10T error!!! I did some experimenting after I reported the trouble with an older Windows XP box and same trouble happened with and without RAILDRIVER installed. I found that AUTOPILOT mode was not selected on the OPTIONS/EXPERIMENTAL page. Once selected, AUTOPILOT works as before.
Sorry to have potentially wasted someone's time on this.
OPEN RAILS ROCKS!!!!!

Mr.Ross –
Thank you for your response to my reported bug.
I did comment on the bug report, indicating further experimentation led me to resolve the issue.
It seems that when I upgraded to the latest stable release version of Open Rails, I failed to re-enable autopilot through the options/experimental check box.
By doing so solved my autopilot issue.
Thank you for your prompt response,
Sincerely,
John Maruszak

Title: Alt + A autopilot mode will not enable (1.1.1.3487, WP 3rd Sub, Grain Train West)
Status in Open Rails: Invalid
Bug description: Noticed that shortly after starting to use a RailDriver unit with Open Rails that the ALT + A (autopilot) function will not enable. I have unplugged the Raildriver, rebooted the system and even uninstalled, redownloaded and reinstalled latest Open Rails program with no change. The last Log file is attached. The route I was running was the WP3rd Sub from 3D Trains and it used to run in autopilot previously.
