A number of problems in autopilot mode have allready been identified and corrected in version 3865. This should solve the problems with station stops. This version also corrects a problem with AI trains not terminating at the end of their route.
As for the problem with the wipers - were you running with rain switched on?

Yes... thx! Platform stops fixed in 3866... just downloaded. Wipers still there, and yes, appearing with rain on, and still there in 3866. But that problem hadn't been in earlier builds, so I mistakenly associated it with this.
Also, speed control now appears to be ENG/route related, not the build.
So please consider the issues in my report fixed. Thank you!

Correction. The wipers problem remains. Yes, associated with Rain/snow and autopilot. Problem disappears when either of those conditions not present. Oddly, hour time of game appears at left (beginning) of message string... so for example, "00:01:30 Wipers on/off" (on/off toggles continuously and appears to relate to speed of train).

Current build 3863 breaks autopilot.
1) Using simple activity with train stopping at passenger platforms, train recognizes platform and slows down to a location about 0.3 miles away. Then increases in speed past station.
2) Train speed no longer restrained by in-route speed limits.
3) When switching into autopilot, wiper control confirmation appears on screen rapidly toggling on and off. Remains continuously. Switching out of autopilot removes it.
Previous build had none of these problems. Autopilot worked fine, except that speed was constrained ONLY by speed limits in-route, not by TRK file speed limit, CON file speed limit, or ENG file speed limit.
Ran several activities in Europe2. Can test in other routes if desired.
