Can't log in #307

hey guys so when i try to sign in with facebook ( im on chrome) the wheel just keeps on spinning ( as shown below ) and I can't get anywhere. screen shot 2015-06-22 at 20 30 25

@hems any idea what's causing this? And why is it always only for Max lol

it works with google but not facebook- not that i know if its on the facebook side that its going wrong though because it doesnt even get there the wheel just keeps spinning on our own pop up

@maxgrunefeld i just found out that what happens is that when Max tries to log in with facebook the server can't actually link his account to google login.

This probably happens because max email on facebook isn't available or is different from Chrome, and at the moment the application creates the username based on his name which already existed on the database because he entered with google first : (

@thomas1602 one solution is to always add a little random number at the end of the username, or make username like "user546432" and then the user will have to change his username on his profile if he wants.

@maxgrunefeld you should be able to login now, but since your facebook email and google email doesn't seem to be the same, you will get two different users.

One with each login ( facebook / google ).

We can only link Facebook and Google accounts when you use same email on both services, unfortunately.

In the future we might be able to "link" accounts, even if they have different emails, but unfortunately not at the moment.
