So today I did a couple of tests - I deleted Appcast, created a completely new account and tried streaming as a first time user would and realised why some users are broadcasting mute.
After downloading and running Appcast, the mic is selected by default (which is ok) however, I didn't get any signal from the mic (no waveform), I basically had to refresh the window to see the waveform. I guess this is causing confusion for a lot of users testing as they wouldn't know they need to refresh the window.
@hems this one might be hard to replicate as it only happens every now and then - same as when the instructions for downloading appcast doesn't always show.
