1.7 or 1.8? #84

Hi Mate,

We really miss your mod on our server. Are you planning on doing a 1.7.10 release? Or skipping to 1.8?

A 1.7.10 version is already in the works :) It's coming, don't worry.

One thing.. please make it not require later than Forge 1207... Cauldron's last build... before the ill fated bukkit drama.

It's currently using 1205 but unless there is something in newer versions that LordFokas wants to use it should run fine on semi-old versions

All good. Was just making sure you guys are aware that'll kill off support for Cauldron :)

ugh, no, I believe the last forge update I made was to 1208. But I doubt it will require 1208. I just like to play with the latest toys :p Since I'm not using anything introduced in 1207+, you can run it fine on 1207. Just remember that once we move on to MC 1.8, we'll no longer be able to support cauldron since it, well, died.

That's perfectly fine mate =) Thanks for considering it. I'm asking if mod devs can hold off until 1.8 to kill cauldron support for the mods i use. you're all awesome!

Actually I just checked, and I'm using 1205. But in the event it gets updated, refer to the reply above.
