Extend Phalanx extra bonus to swords. #588

The Romans effectively made use of sword based phalanxes with their Spathas or Gladii (forget which it's called). I also think this change would increase to usability and versatility of this perk.

Not opposed to this idea. But what are your thoughts on it taking into view whether it will make spear and shield obsolete compared to spear and sword (for most cases, if not all)?

I assume you meant spear and shield obsolete compared to sword and shield.

I do not think this will be the case. I think spears will be used in the early game and on lower matk bros to raise their hit chance. Also on bros specced with the spear tree as opposed to the sword tree, which gives unique advantages that swords can't match.

I think more likely you will see a mixed weapon front with this change.
