ps5 controller showing 300-400hz with 2.5ms average on XInputTest with 8000 interval filter on. the ps4 is doing 900-1000hz with 0.4-1ms average on XInputTest. how do i fix this?

ps5 controller showing 300-400hz with 2.5ms

Why do you think that this device is capable for more?

how do i fix this?

Ask the other owners of this device about they results in overclocking for the first.

i use your program for a long time to overclock ps4 controllers. they read 0.5ms average with 1000hz polling rate when i test with input tester. the ps5 can go to 8000hz so basically 0ms - 0.5ms with a 8000hz... but it only reads about 500hz with 1.5ms to 2.5ms average. even in ds4windows when you overclock the ps5 controller, it shows 0ms. but the testing shows otherwise and i can feel the delay. feels like a stock ps4 controller without a overclock

the ps5 can go to 8000hz

You definitely make the mistake of mixing polling rate and rate the device is answering to the polls.

im not taking this out of my ass man..... when i overclock my dualsense, it has higher "ms" in response time and lower "hz"than a ps4 controller. the dualsense should be getting lower than 0.5ms considering its being overclocked to 8000hz. no way that a ps4 controller is faster than the dualsense after overclock. makes no sense

really? the speediest devices in the world (they CAN be overclocked to REAL 8000 Hz) - Microsoft mice on mlt-04 sensor are USB Low Speed devices so BY DEFAULT they run on 125Hz only. does that make sense in your logic?

ill try to better ask my question cause you are pretty much the only one who could answer and i want to understand. its your program, you know much about this stuff. heck you call yourself the LordOfMice.. everyone says the dualsense can be pushed more, thats obvious, even you can agree. thats why you can go to 8000hz with it. Anyways, the older ps4 controller is great, you OC it to 1000hz and bang youre good with a 1000hz and 0.5ms average........ on the dualsense, youd think maxing the interval to 8000hz makes it even faster cause in ds4windows it says its getting lower latency, but in polling rate and latency tests, the dualsense is much slower. i just dont understand this with everything ive explained to you. i even tried to OC the dualsense to the same as the ps4, a simple 1000hz OC and till the ps4 controller was faster. that just doesnt make sense to me and i like to understand things.

and i understand your logic.. but you kind of prove the point to my confusion.. why is a lower rated device (PS4 Controller) doing better than the Dualsense, if the Dualsense is higher rated and more capable

put it this way using what you said... im seeing the Dualsense as the "speediest device", and i see the Ps4 controller as the "Microsoft mice on mlt-04 sensor"... how tf is mlt-04 sensor outperforming the speediest device in this case?
