Controller OC Not Working #331

I’ve tried two different controllers, I have one set to 500 and the other 1000 but when I test them in the command prompt polling rate tester program it says 250 , 4ms. Any idea why? Could it be controller limitations?

Of course. It's overclocking, no guarantees at all.

Any idea why?

Many variants. Read reame and follow the links. And start from overclocking of one of the well-known overclockable devices to test your system.
