Hello,
there is a common misconception where the game isn't entirely clear or honest with its players.
The Grid Broadcaster plugin reports grids which have a sum of the configured PCU. Sum means the sum of the main grid + pcu of connected grids via piston, rotor head, hinges etc.
The grid info in terminal doesn't show this sum to the player. It merely shows the PCU of the grid whose block you used to access it. So it is entirely possible they had a 12,000 PCU grid. + a huge solar panel array connected via rotor+ Several drills on a piston and more.
Space engineers also counts active projections towards the PCU limit.
If you believe all of these scenarios aren't the case, you can share a blueprint of an affected grid via Torch Discord with me. Taking a blueprint from the serverr can be done with the gridexporter plugin, ctrl+b in when logged in, or alternatively you can use PCU Transferrers commands to analyse the grid + subgrids yourself. !checkAuthor could be of use there.
Yes and we put this in our MOTD/Rules.
I will make an attempt to get you the BP for one of the ships.
I set the PCU limit to 20,000
However someone pinged at 12,000, and then later we had a report of a ping at 6,000. They were not abandoned or outside of the border.
The ping limit is the highest we have ever set at 20k
thank you for everything you have added to this community! ♥
