Glad you are taking this on.
Be warned that this is a HUGE topic if you wish it to be, or it could be a
simple article covering the basics. It's up to you.
If you hit any topics on this that would be good articles for ClarkWP, please
suggest them (see the WIKI or Canvas for directions on how to suggest an
article on ClarkWP SVN).
Thanks!
PS: Since you put your name on this, I assume you ACCEPTED it, so I've set it
to accept.

Great start to the article. It doesn't yet comply with the request and there
are some issues that need to be fixed.
1. Please review the ClarkWP style guide for content and multimedia.
A. The images are media files and attachments are required.
B. Editorial commentary like "how cool is that" is not permitted as these are professional articles written in second person unless approved by the instructor.
C. Well done on web accessibility in the links. and images, though they are to be written as short sentences.
D. The post is in the wrong category and lacks tags.
2. General Misinformation:
A. WordPress has social media features built into the core.
B. You don't have to tell us how "many sites nowadays use WordPress..." This is a WordPress-centric site. We've drunk the koolaid. :D
C. Do not explain how to add a WordPress Plugin. The article is not a tutorial on installing WordPress Plugins, but about how to integrate social media into WordPress. Plugins may be a choice but link to the tutorial on how to add a Plugin, don't write the instructions. Assume the reader knows.
D. Specify the WordPress Plugins and describe how they work, benefits for usage, and screenshots for demonstration.
3. The sequence of the article needs to be:
1. Default functionality that integrates social media out of the WordPress box.
2. Examples of WordPress Plugins that add social media integration (and include information on Jetpack's Publicize and Share features for both WordPress.com and self-hosted versions).
3. Tips for maximizing social media in WordPress (and there are a thousand things, so think them through and cherry pick the best ones that will help the students in the future.
As mentioned in the comments, this is a huge topic. You've barely brushed the
surface, and the article needs to be fleshed out.
Thanks.

I added some additional details about jetpack and buddypress as well as trying
to keep it as professional as possible in the formating.
thanks
