Museum armoury unobtainables/difficult to obtains/bugs #111

Several falmer items are unobtainable or only obtainable as fixed placements. Recommend the following changes:

---Ancient Falmer--- Ancient falmer battleaxe, bow, greatsword, mace, sword, war axe, warmace, and shield are not all obtainable. This is due to a conflict between LotD and immersive creatures. 4 one-time only opportunities are given to get one drop from a pool containing 9 items (these and ancient falmer dagger which is obtainable at a fixed location). These are supposed to also be dropped by Falmer Loremasters which were removed by immersive creatures.

Recommended solution- Re-add a few Falmer Loremasters (09234BD0) to the LCharFalmerShaman (0001E77F) leveled NPC list. I added 5 because the list is longer than intended when LotD originally added 3.

---Falmer--- Pike, honed pike (unobtainable) Armor set (fixed locations only) Heavy armor set (one fixed location at last sigil only) Hardened armor set (unobtainable)

---Optional Ancient Nord--- Ancient nord armor set is only available as fixed placements and crafting at skyforge. This is due to immersive creatures removing it as a drop from Draugr. ---Ancient nord weapon witchcraft--- Note I was unable to get another user to replicate this so I'm not 100% sure it isn't just my save file/build. I did go back to an old save at level 12 and confirm that it was still present then though.

I am now convinced that all ancient nord weapons are obtainable, whether through drops, fishing, or crafting. There is some witchcraft going on with weapon drops that I can not figure out though. Almost all 1H draugr drop ancient nord mace or honed ancient nord mace (fishing, not heavy armory) and almost all 2H draugr drop ancient nord warhammer or honed ancient nord warhammer(fishing, not heavy armory). This is despite none of these items being on the leveled lists that draugr should use for weapons. Archer drops are normal (bow + 1H from LList).

When I looked at each one in xEdit it seems like any time a draugr uses the leveled lists 000242FC (for 1H) or 00024300 (for 2H) they drop fishing weapons but if they use a different leveled list or just link directly to the LostLegacy_OWL-HA-AA leveled lists the drops are normal.

Recommended solution- ??? First see if you can replicate the issue I guess.

---Optional fishing tweaks--- If the above issue is resolved recommend adding the ancient nord dagger, honed dagger, hero dagger, mace, honed mace, hero mace, warhammer, honed warhammer, and hero warhammer to the LostLegacy_OWL-HA-AA leveled lists if it isn't too hard to add fishing as a dependency. They are normally obtained by fishing and, in the case of the hero versions, crafting. Heavy armoury already adds daggers, maces, and warhammers to draugr so this isn't immersion breaking.

---Other--- Dragonbone rapier recipe requires the player to NOT have dragon smithing (as stated in other issue thread)

Daedric animated armory recipes still require getting all 7 black books (as stated in other issue thread)

Banded Iron museum display- I use this mod to fix a LotD bug. Banded armor in the LotD checklist shows up as "Error!" and does not take the armor from your inventory to put on display. LotD changelog claims this is fixed in 5.6.5 but the mod page linked claims otherwise. Recommend checking when testing 1.2. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/81084

Hi Hukkatsu,

You seem extremely knowledgeable about this problem. Why don't you write a patch fixing the problem? I'm sure there are others experiencing the exact same problem.

I can if asked but what I'm trying to do is give the data so the mod author can roll the fixes into patches that he already has and not use an extra .esp slot. As I complete the museum I'm probably going to post a few more threads like this where I talk about all the problems with a specific museum room.

It would be an esl slot :) I did a few patches myself, and published them on the Nexus. It's MUCH easier than waiting for a mod author to accommodate your wishes.

Looks like I unintentionally made a new bug. While falmer indeed drop unobtainable items they don't wear them as armor. This falmer has heavy helm, heavy armor, seasoned gauntlets, seasoned boots. image
