Mod Suggestion: Lux and Lux Orbis #42

I realize this might be a patching challenge, but I love Lux and Lux Orbis and it would be great to see these mods in the long term TPF vision.

So there was just some internal discussion about how poorly this mod performs (dropping frames by half in some cases). I have some deep concerns for how that would run on mid to lower end pcs.
