Framerate drops during combat (likely related to Enhanced Blood Textures)

I have tested this both in the overworld and indoors, as I wanted to ensure that it happened in areas with super steady framerates. It would appear that Enhanced Blood Textures is causing framerate drops, at least on my machine (9900k, 2070 Super, playing at 1080p). The drops are very consistent, occurring when I hit a target with an arrow, a melee weapon, or just in general. It also happens whenever I get tagged with something. In order to confirm my theory, I disabled both Enhanced Blood Textures and Sanguine - Enhanced Blood Retexture, loaded up my save, and tested. The issue vanished. I closed the game again, re-enabled the mods, loaded my save, and the issue was occurring again.

EDIT Bit of a follow-up here: I tried out the Lite version of Enhanced Blood Textures and it is not causing the framerate drops.

EDIT TWO The plot thickens: a fresh install of Enhanced Blood Textures does not cause frame drops. Could it be something changed in the Mod Menu that isn't default? Not super sure.

Since reinstalling the mod seemed to fix the issue, it's really hard to say. I'll definitely be sure to let you know if I find anything extra going on.

Dropping a final comment here: it started to hurt my frames again so I'm going to permanently stick with the Lite version. Not sure what's up with the full one.
