Capacitor allows us to target web, IOS and Android using a single code base.
For a safety net, we'll start the migration in a new branch, probably keep it there. No plans areade now to merge them together unless features/look and feel starts to get hard to keep up with two code bases.
A full migration will be fine IF the capacitor code base runs fine in a web browser. Which it... Should.
