Some examples that come to mind:

Firestarter item from Roots 2(which is basically an earlier game flint and steel with low durability)
Tools made with blaze rod shafts from Adventurer's Toolbox(which allow you to set fires by right clicking with the tool) -The 'Blaze' trick from Psi(this one I can understand ignoring because it's not really a flint and steel item)
Various other mod-added utilities which can start fires, like igniter blocks powered by redstone signals

I think i will add a config item list for this, and prepopulate it with some of these defaults

How it currently works inthe released version of the mod is that, if the Brazier has an item, and I dont light it at all, and then i sneak right click the middle main Altar, it auto-lights the braziers for you, no flint and steel needed. So this avoids this problem
