The IT protocols in place to now allow anyone outside of IT staff to have access to the command line (we're a Windows institution), so I am limited in the work I can do to only tools that use GUIs. I have gently tried to push back on this, but I'm new, this position is new (first ever digital archivist here), and I don't have the political capital or, frankly, the IT knowledge to push back more or convince them I need command line access to do my job.
