The directory is not empty. #67

During a copying process, on some titles a message is displayed, "The directory is not empty. : 'G:\33'".

This message occurs even when the directory doesn't exist before the copy process begins. After clicking ok, the copy process continues. But at the end the folder is named with an underscore, eg, "33_", and the folder is missing "name.txt".

I've found on the titles that have this issue, if I unselect the "Shrink" option, it copies without errors.

Hi, thanks for the report!

This message usually occurs when there's another error. It seems there's a problem with the shrinking here, but it should have warned you. Can you give me the name of the game? I'll check if it's a known game where shrinking does not work.

One of the next features to be implemented will be to add a blacklist of games where shrinking do not work, which will disable the checkbox if there's known problems.

It happened to me also with Guilty Gear X.

Heya, I was already 3/4 of the way of getting the games onto the SD card, and hadn't been keeping a complete record of all the games that failed with this error. As I've been transferring the rest, I've created a list of all the games that failed with the "The directory is not empty error". As mentioned above, these games transferred over ok once I turned off the shrink option. These games are all PAL versions, not sure if that makes a difference.

SnoCross - Championship Racing Snow Surfers Spec Ops II - Omega Squad Speed Devils - Online Racing Star Wars - Demolition Stunt GP Super Runabout Taxi 2 - Le Jeu Tokyo Highway Challenge Unreal Tournament Vanishing Point Vigilante 8 - 2nd Offense Walt Disney World Quest - Magical Racing Tour Worms Armageddon Worms World Party

One suggestion would be to let the copy process keep going even if an error is encountered, as when you are transferring lots of games, and you need to click "OK" for it to continue, it can slow down the process :)
