First this is not a Bugtracker for Cyanogen-Rom Bugs. Only for the updater.
The other Bugtracker can be found here:
http://code.google.com/p/cyanogenmod/issues/list

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Download an update
2.While downloading reboot
3.Download has stopped, but the download notification stays

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

What ROM are you running?(including Version)
Cm 10.1 on Nexus 10 12/10

What Version of CM-Updater are you running??(When using an Experimental
one, please Provide the SVN Release Number)

Please provide a logcat of the issue:
If you get a Force close do an: adb logcat
If somethings wrong in the app do an: adb logcat cmupdater:V *:S
For older Versions of the updater: adb logcat | grep "<CM-Updater>"

Please provide any additional information below.

I am affected by this as well and would appreciate hints if there is a
workaround?

Thanks, Michael

Same issue here, with an LG Optimus Black, and cm-10.1-20130104-NIGHTLY-p970
finally installed manually with a reboot using Rom Manager.

Cheers!

I figured out a workaround and as it was non obvious (to me at least :) I
thought I should share it here. When I long press the notification that the
image is downloading and I see a little "app info" option. When pressing that I
get to the app info screen for "Download Manager" (version
4.2.1-eng.2030118.0000207). "Clear data" there make the notification go away.

I don't know enough about the cm-updater source to say if that "Download
Manager" is part of the cm-updater or a generic part of the system.
