UKS "Ranger" inflatables must be mounted at a certain height so that they don't clip into or float off terrain when deployed. "Duna" and Karibou modules facilitate this by incorporating suspension-less "landing gear" that levels the whole vessel/base. Creating something equivalent for KPBS would allow the two form-factors to connect seamlessly - either a KPBS-to-Karibou adapter piece, or suspension-less landing gear with the appropriate height for the existing KPBS gear nodes.
Also this would create interoperability between the KPBS "Gangway" and UKS "Kerbitrail" systems, which are both just 1.25m corridors with their own visual styles.
However I'm not a modeler so this is unlikely to happen without help. The ugly kludge with existing parts is to stick some of the Karibou adapter plates onto KPBS bases.
