Search for curly brace produces "Syntax Error" even with Regex turned off. #46

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Disable "Regex" searching.
2. Open the search field.
3. Type in "{" and search any direction.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected to see a search result. Instead, we get "Syntax Error."

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ver. 0.2.33(83) on Android 4.2.2
