I have started the overview of the project for assignment 2. Please feel free to read over what I have so far and change or add more information.

Our group met with our user, Dr. Rier, on Friday February 3rd at 9 AM. He is asking for a web application to allow the general public to access and be able to understand the water quality data being gathered at Fishing Creek in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania. Dr. Rier asked that we model the app to have a similar look and feel to the ienvironet.com website that is being used for private access of the current data.

The main priority being able to generate a graph of up to 3 chosen data sets over a selected period of time. Another priority is to make the app easily usable and understood by the general public. One way to do this is to define data in terms that the general public can understand by either a creating a link to a term definition page or adding a description of the chosen data underneath the graph that is created.

Added a little bit to the overview. Here is what I have now:

Another priority is to make the app easily usable and understood by the general public. One way to do this is to define data in terms that the general public can understand by either a creating a link to a term definition page or adding a description of the chosen data underneath the graph that is created. The Admin page will include the ability to add data that has been collected by hand for certain types of data that will be know ahead of time.
